MIXED MEDIA
Multimedia, new media, installation, animation or intervention.
El Beat (2019 / 2023)
Audio System Development, Sound Design, Mixing
Unity, Max MSP, Arduino
Sergio Bromberg & Irene Lerma
Interactive augmented reality installation centered around Colombian afroamerican 'Palenque' culture. It used a set of marimbulas (folcloric musical instrument) linked to a rendering system to create musical and visual landscapes.
Vicachá (2018)
Sound Design, Music, Level Design
R&D
Christian Kook & Alejandro Villegas
Acoustic sculpture, winner of the Cretative Grant 2018 by Fundación Gilberto Alzate Avendaño (Colombia). It uses an acoustic resonator connected to the Bogota's buried underground river "Vicachá" to bring out it's sound to the public space.
Poliphotony (2016 - 2018)
Developer
Max MSP, R&D
Alba Triana
Conceived by it's author as a visual musical piece, this installation projects light onto vibrating strings to compose a "polyphony" of movement. To achieve this, it sequences a series of parameters such as time, frequency or rhythm to control both the string and the light behavior.
Microcosmos (2016)
Developer
Max MSP, R&D
Alba Triana
Vibrational sculpture exploring the vibration of physical bodies. It uses a sequence of fine tuned waves, programmed in a custom Max MSP sequencer, to estimulates a cymbal resonating nodes through a transducer, bringing to life different kinetic and sound behavior as the piece unfolds.
Retratos Imperfectos
Developer
Max MSP, Resolume

Julian Medina (LED)
Interactive digital installation using real time video capture filtered through a Resolume session crafted by Julian Medina and controlled by different random parameters via Max MSP to create experimental portraits, which were directly fed to a public repository for visitors.
Music on a Bound String No. 2
Developer
Max MSP, R&D
Alba Triana
Triana's second vibrational sculpture using a excited string and projected light to explore the relationship between light and sound, composing a musical piece with those visual elements. It was programmed using a custom made Max-MSP sequencer.
